At the age of 28, he established the Dynisco China factory. He successfully sold Shanghai Haoying to the Fortune 500 listed company, the American Roper Group, and was rehired as the president of Dynisco China, a subsidiary of the American Roper Group. In 2020, Dr. Wu Hao joined GRAEFF, a British company founded in 1930, as the president of its China region and was responsible for the establishment of the GRAEFF China factory.

Dr. Wu Hao led his team to develop the first mercury-free and environmentally friendly high-temperature melt pressure sensor in China, breaking the international monopoly. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, this technology was applied to meltblown fabric production equipment, contributing to the supply of core materials for eco-friendly masks. He also promoted the integration of sensors with Internet of Things technology, developing solutions for smart fire protection and smart agriculture. As an important driver of urban digital transformation, Dr. Wu Hao's patented product, "High-temperature Pressure Sensor for Molten Salt Pressure Measurement in High-temperature Molten Salt Heat Transfer and Storage System", won the silver award at the 6th China (Shanghai) Invention and Innovation Exhibition and the Bronze award for Excellent Invention at the 34th Shanghai Excellent Invention Selection Competition.
