Tate-Jones units are for use in low pressure applications (5 PSI) where 100% shutoff is not required. The Saf-T-Eye® Basic Unit Model No. 20 is made of a carbon steel or stainless steel body and assembled with suitable glass and gaskets for its operating environment. The Model No. 20 is currently only available in 309 stainless steel.
