Melexis MLX90380 Position Sensors are monolithic contactless sensor ICs sensitive to the flux density applied orthogonally and parallel to the IC surface. The MLX90380 sensor ICs are used with a rotating permanent magnet which delivers accurate and contactless sine or cosine dual analog output signals. These sensor ICs feature a wide range of operating temperature, supply voltage, and magnetic flux density which can resolve the angular position of a rotating axis over 360 degrees. The MLX90380 position sensor ICs are available in SOIC-8 (single die) and TSSOP-16 (dual die fully redundant) packages. Typical applications include absolute rotary position sensors, field-oriented motor, and brushless motor.
