Kionix KXTF9 tri-axis accelerometers with Directional Tap/Double-Tap™ feature user-selectable 2g, 4g, and 8g digital output. The Directional Tap/Double-Tap feature of the Kioinx KXTF9 operates by detecting a quick, light tap or double tap on any of the six faces of an object (X, Y, and Z). The embedded algorithm allows the accelerometer to discern a single or double tap and the direction from which the tap originated. These 12 taps/double taps can be used by users as user-interface commands to enable certain features on their electronic products. Kionix KXTF9 digital accelerometers are ideal for a variety of applications, including mobile phones, game controllers, health care and fitness, and personal navigation devices.
