Texas Instruments' TMP421/TMP422/TMP423 small high-performance remote temperature monitor with built-in local temperature sensors. The devices add programmable bus addressing to support multiple devices on the same I2C/SMBus. The TMP421/TMP422/TMP423 feature series resistance cancellation, programmable non-ideality factor for improved system accuracy, and diode fault detection to ensure the remote sensor is in working condition and connected correctly. The devices have an onboard local temperature sensor and support three remote temperature sensors.
