Heraeus Sensor Technology Ceramic Housing RTD High Temperature Sensors encapsulate a platinum RTD element into an aluminum oxide ceramic housing to provide excellent electrical isolation. These Heraeus Sensor Technology sensors are available with either Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance values and feature a small diameter for insertion into metal housings of 0.156" (3.96mm) and larger. The 24AWG lead wires are fiberglass-insulated with a wire resistance of 0.030Ω/ft (0.098Ω/m) for each conductor. With a 500°C maximum operating temperature, these ceramically-housed RTD temperature sensors are ideal for temperature probe assembly and laboratory settings as well as heating, air conditioning, and ventilation applications.
