Model 403 and 403VP sensors are intended primarily for the determination of conductivity in water-for-injection (WFI). The sensors are also used in water purification systems in the food and beverage industry.","The sensor has titanium electrodes with a PCTFE (Neoflon®) insulator and EP O-rings. The Tri-Clamp® sanitary flange is 316 stainless steel. All wetted plastics and elastomers are compliant with 21CFR177, and all wetted surfaces have a16 microinch (0.4 micrometer) Ra finish. The sensor is shipped with a certificate of conformance for materials and surface finish.","The maximum temperature is 221°F (105°C), and the maximum pressure is 250 psig (1825 kPa abs). The sensor also tolerates steam in place. Both integral cable (Model 403) and quick disconnect Variopol cable (Model 403VP) are available.
