All in one housing: Baumer launches compact GigE Vision camera
A space-saving GigE Vision camera ready for use in just a few steps: With the new IX series, Baumer is proving that setup and use of GigE Vision cameras can be very easy. Thanks to the all-in-one concept, users no longer have to care about connectivity of external components or the need for protective enclosures. They simply take the new, convenient Baumer camera which integrates all the components for image acquisition in a single robust housing: The Baumer cameras of the new IX series integrate autofocus, optical system and lighting and this way set new standards as ready-to-use and all-in-one GigE Vision cameras for factory automation.
Baumer is reputed as a reliable partner for simplified industrial image processing at improved cost-efficiency and user-friendlyness. The IX series coming in all-in-one design is the most recent example. Besides the camera itself, image acquisition with PC-based GigE cameras calls for other components such as optical system, flash controller and lighting. Furthermore, where a particular protection rating is required or to prevent unintended adjustments, there is no way round an additional protective housing, either procured or designed.
