Huba Control AG announces CEO Transition
Mr. Weng Kuan (WK) Tan will assume the position of CEO with immediate effect. This decision follows the resignation of Dr. David Achermann, who is stepping down from his position for personal reasons.
Effective immediately, Dr. David Achermann, will be stepping down from his role due to personal reasons. He has been a part of Huba since the February 2018, serving as the CEO since January 2021. Huba Control expresses its deepest gratitude to David for his unwavering dedication and remarkable service.
As Huba Control AG enters this transitional period, the introduction of Mr. Weng Kuan (WK) Tan as the new CEO is met with pleasure. WK Tan, a familiar face in the Huba Control community, served as the Board member in residence from 2021 to the end of 2022. Collaborating closely with Dr. Achermann and the executive management team during this time, WK gained a profound understanding of Huba’s business, values and vision.
WK Tan brings a wealth of experience from the industry, having held senior leadership roles at renowned companies such as Siemens, Infineon Technologies and Intel. His rich expertise and perceptive insights will provide significant value as Huba Control AG strategically tackles the upcoming challenges.
